Melting Potes is mainly aimed at working people (young and less young!) because Grenoble already offers many options for students. However, everyone is welcome!
Our concept to help:
In short, Melting Potes seeks to create a dynamic community of people sharing a common interest in foreign languages and interculturality. The idea is to facilitate the exchange of good tips on life in Grenoble: the places to visit after having already climbed the Bastille 10 times, the most beautiful hikes in the surrounding area… etc!
Individual: personalized and tailor-made practices according to the need (situation simulations, business vocabulary, grammar lessons, interview simulations, etc.)
→ €25/h; €140/6 practices (instead of €150); €280/12 practices (instead of €300) or €275/12 practices (=one practice offered) for people who sponsor and are sponsored

My name is Elise and I’m from Grenoble born and bred. My studies in foreign languages and intercultural management, as well as my love for travel, have taken me to see the four corners of Europe, from Scotland to Spain, where I discovered the richness of cultural exchanges. The Erasmus bug got me for good, and since then, I have regularly been involved in events dedicated to international people, be it as a participant or an organizer.
Back in Grenoble, I thought of a way to draw the overseas to me. My professional experiences, particularly in accompanying students and employees in mobility, made me realize how essential it is to be well surrounded when you arrive in a new environment. This need for welcome and connection is also true for those who move from one city to another in France!
That’s why I founded Melting Potes, a traveling language café where people who are passionate about foreign languages and newcomers meet! My goal is to offer a warm and welcoming space to facilitate integration in Grenoble:
